Car Rental Policy

1. Booking and Availability:

  • The Sun and Sea Villas offers car rental services to guests. Guests are encouraged to book a rental to explore the island and increase their mobility.

2. Requirements:

  • To rent a car, guests must be at least 25 years old and possess a valid driver’s license. Additional drivers must also meet these requirements and be listed on the rental agreement.

3. Rental Period:

  • The standard rental period is 24 hours. The minimum number of days is 3. Extensions may be granted, but must be arranged and paid for in advance. The rental period cannot extend beyond the guest’s booking period.

4. Payment and Insurance:

  • Payment for the rental is due at the time of booking. A security deposit of $100.00 USD is also required.
  • Rental rates include basic insurance coverage and tax.

5. Fuel and Mileage:

  • The car will be provided with a full tank of fuel and should be returned with a full tank. Guests are responsible for any fuel costs incurred during the rental period. If the car is not returned with a full tank of fuel, the security deposit will be used to replenish the fuel.

6. Condition of the Car:

  • The car will be inspected before and after each rental. Guests are responsible for any damages to the car during their rental period.

7. Driving Restrictions:

  • The car is to be driven only by authorized drivers listed on the rental agreement.

8. Traffic Violations:

  • Guests are responsible for any traffic violations incurred during the rental period, including parking tickets and speeding fines.

9. Return of the Car:

  • The car must be returned on time and in the same condition as it was rented.
  • Late returns may incur additional charges.

10. Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations made at least 48 hours in advance are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance may incur a cancellation fee.

11. Liability:

The Sun and Sea Villas and its affiliates are not liable for any accidents, injuries, or damages that occur during the rental period.

12. Reservation Changes:

Any changes to your reservation must be made in advance.
